Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of Found: Bluetooth Finder (“Found” or “the app”), provided by Spyridon Bousios. By downloading or using Found, you agree to these terms and the applicable Apple App Store terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What Found does

Found scans Bluetooth Low Energy broadcasts visible near your device and provides signal-strength, rough-range, closer-or-farther, local history, alert, and repeat-signal tools. Bluetooth results are estimates. Walls, cases, interference, movement, battery level, whether an accessory is awake, and other conditions can materially affect readings.

Permission to use the app

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Found for lawful personal purposes on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the App Store rules.

You may not misuse the app; interfere with its operation; use it to violate privacy, property, or other rights; attempt unauthorized access; distribute malicious code; resell the service; or copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Free access, advertising, and Pro

Found may provide welcome access to Pro tools so new users can evaluate the product. After welcome access, basic scanning and live signal guidance may remain available with contextual, non-personalized advertising, while local history, close alerts, deeper repeat-signal checks, and an ad-free experience may require Pro. Feature availability can change as the app improves, but an active paid entitlement will receive the access described at purchase, subject to compatibility and service availability.

Subscriptions and one-time purchases

The App Store displays the current localized product, price, billing period, introductory-offer eligibility, and renewal terms before you confirm a purchase.

• Weekly Pro is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation, except during an applicable introductory offer. It renews automatically at the displayed price and billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Lifetime Pro is a non-consumable, one-time purchase and is not an auto-renewable subscription.

Apple controls billing, offer eligibility, refunds, renewal, cancellation, Family Sharing availability, and payment processing. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Use Restore Purchases in Found to ask Apple to restore an eligible entitlement. Unless required by law or Apple’s policies, purchases are non-refundable by us because we do not process payment directly.

Availability and changes

Found depends on compatible hardware, Bluetooth permission, iOS behavior, accessory broadcasts, and sometimes internet access for advertising, analytics, purchases, policy pages, and reviews. We may maintain, update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for using Found lawfully, respecting other people’s privacy and property, keeping your device secure, maintaining necessary connectivity, and independently evaluating any safety-related clue. You are responsible for any carrier, internet, or device charges.

Intellectual property

Found, its original interface, software, graphics, and content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Bluetooth and third-party product names or marks belong to their respective owners. Found is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple, Bluetooth SIG, or accessory manufacturers unless expressly stated.

Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Found is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, exact measurement, detection, recovery, or safety. Nothing in these terms limits a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss; loss of data, property, revenue, or opportunity; failure to detect or recover a device; reliance on a signal or Security result; connectivity problems; or third-party services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Privacy

The Found Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and is incorporated into these terms by reference.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the app, purchases, providers, or legal requirements change. Updated terms become effective when posted with a revised effective date, subject to any additional notice required by law.
